Welcome to "E" day - so happy it was an easy choice and I didn't have to scramble through my stash to find a polish that starts with an "E"! I'm not very happy with how this turned out - the color is awful on me (Essie's Go Overboard) and I had some smudging when I put on Essie's as Gold as it Gets. I hate when polishes look so pretty in the bottle and look horrible on! I think I've come to the conclusion that dark polishes don't suit me very well. We all know I love me some neon, which I'm pretty sure impacts the decision that dark colors are so not me.
Anyone want to trade this for the brightest neon in your stash?!? Yes? No? Well you decide, I'm off to check out the other lovelies doing this challenge, I'm hoping to see some elephants!!
Holla, N
I'm very particular myself about dark polishes because they don't look great on me. This doesn't look bad on you, though, I don't think. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm just the opposite. I have a bunch of neons, but lean toward dark colors.
ReplyDeleteI do dig this mani though. I think it looks gorgeous on you!
I think it doesn't look bad on you at all! really pretty colour <3

I don't see what you seem because from Spain this looks GREAT!The combination with gold looks perfect, like meant to be. With that said, I don't have a problem helping you get rid of it in exchange for the craziest/brightest one in my stash :p
ReplyDeleteI don't think it looks bad on you, I guess it's more a thing on not seeing yourself with dark colours probably!
ReplyDeleteLOL I know how you feel, but it does suit you from my point of view - but what matters is what we feel ourselves...
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about!! I loved this mani!!! I don't think it looks bad on you :D
ReplyDeleteI love the design, it reminds me of a spot light at a movie premier. While I love this color and all - I see you as wearing more bright colors :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not what you're used to seeing on your nails, Nicole. It's not what I'M used to seeing on your nails. LOL. With your skin tone, you can rock the brights that people like me look awful in. But this looks great on you. Granted, it ain't neon, but as a mani....it rocks!!! And next time, we'll get you some elephants! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou done great, girl!
Hey...one more thing...am I going blind or is your icon not showing up on the inlinkz thingy?
Lemme know if you've a problem and need help.
Later, gator!!!
Lisa
Now, I see you!!!! YAY!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think it looks great on you! :)
ReplyDeleteI think this looks wonderful no you!! I love dark polishes!! Very well done mani!
ReplyDeleteOOOOO I like this color! I would be more than happy to trade, Ive got a few neons I'm not sold on :) email me raquel.maxine@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThis looks so pretty on you! I love it :)
ReplyDeleteI'm opposite too, love darks, hesitate with neons.... oh well. BUT.... I do have to say that I really like dark polish on short nails like yours. When nails are too long with dark polish it looks like animal claws to me. So I love your mani!! Maybe it just needs time to grow on you? And you did a nice job with the nail art, I think it came out great!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else - you're just not used to seeing yourself in dark colors. Looks great with your skin tone. Keep stepping towards the dark side...muah hahaha!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty mani. I agree with the other ladies, it looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteI love the design you did on your finger! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww! I like how it looks on you too! Your eye is just not used to the dark colors I guess :)
ReplyDeleteI think this is really pretty!! It's an awesome combo and your striping is impeccable!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm the other way around. I'm hard put to find a bright color in my collection. I love darks, so maybe I'm biased, but I still think it looks great! :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's all in your head hun. You just need to use darker colors more often and it won't bother you so much. I think this looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it looks bad at all! It is a beautiful shade and I like the flecks in AGAIG!
