Neon Inspired

Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday - I hope that song is in your head now - bahahahahaha!!

Day 21 of the 31 Day Challenge - I can't believe there's only 10 days left, this has been so fun and I've met some great blogging buddies doing this challenge and I'm sad it's almost coming to an end!!  Today's mani is inspired by a color and technically neon is not a color - but it should be - who wants to join the NSBCC (Neon Should Be a Color Club)?  or the NSBWAYC (Neon Should be Worn All Year Club?  I would like to nominate myself as the President - lol!!  I'm still digging the neon, I know summer is over, but I'm still wearing my sandals, so I should still be able to wear my neon polish, right???  This mani took me soooo long last night, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do and I ended up with like 10 layers of polish, but I love it so much - so bright and happy and fun - perfect for the rainy days we've been having lately!!

I used 11 different polishes for this (not including base and top coat) and they've all been put away so Gini and Bex, you are poop outta luck - this girl ain't gonna list all 11 of them this time - even if you ask nicely - lol!!

Polish Days - Sentimental

Hello polish peeps!!

My third go at the lovely Hannah over at Polly Polish's Polish Days.  Today's theme is all about sentimentality - this theme is open to interpretation, whether it's the polish that got you hooked, some nail art in dedication to someone special or that polish that you went through hell and high water to get your hands on.

I had a tough time with this one, it was so broad, I had like 10 ideas and it was hard to settle on just one.  So, I went with the easiest thing I could think of polka dots.  I did these dots with the polish that started my obsession - the 6 mini neon bottles of polish that I got from my cousin after my buddy had waved her perfectly painted digits in my face.  These little mini's are the best neon polishes I own, and it will be a sad day when they bite the dust.  To read more about how I started my polish journey, click here.

My Favorite Mani - Rainbow?

Hiya folks!!  Another combo post for today!!  Did I tell you that I'm doing three challenges?  Yes, I think I may have mentioned it a COUPLE of times!!  So instead of posting late or early, I decided to combine the last day of My Favorite Things Challenge - My Fave Mani and Rainbow Day for the 31 Day Challenge!!

This post is a little bitter sweet - it's officially the last day of My Favorite Things Challenge!!  This has been such a super duper fun challenge and I've met a bunch of amazing, supportive artists!!  A huge thank you to everyone for checking in every week and a special thank you to Kelly at Ooh La La Polish! for hosting the challenge, which I can only imagine is a lot of work!!

So for the My Fave Mani part of this theme, I chose to pay homage to Frenchie at Frenchie's Fairyland Day 3 - Owls - her favorite animal - these were the cutest things ever.  To keep with the rainbow theme for the 31 Day Challenge, instead of recreating her mani exactly, I did rainbow owls!  I hope I did her justice!!
