I should have named this post Glitter Bomb - as in I totally bombed this mani....It looks pretty but you can't see the side view, which is literally an inch thick with polish. Why oh why, must glitter polish be so hard to apply? Am I doing it wrong? I've searched everywhere for a tutorial on how to apply glitter polish the "right" way, why must it cause me so much grief? Does anyone else have this issue? Any tips for applying glitter consistently??

Main Color: Color Club - no name - hate that Color Club has no names for their polishes - this one is a super pale pink/purple.

ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with that chunky polish. I was playing around last night and actually used a toothpick to pick up the larger pieces and put on my nails. It looked like s**t though :oP
I know hey - fins, tails, fish, human - whateva!! I tried to pick up the glitter with my orange stick, but it looked crappy too!! I just want a good glitter that applies nicely!!

ReplyDeletefor me, it depends on the glitter. if i want careful placement, i usually wipe the brush against the inside of the bottle to try to rid as much of the base as possible, and dab the remaining glitter where i want it to go.
That's what I do too, but now the top of the bottle is all gloopy - I just can't win!!!
